Is this the beginning of the trend?

Rawsome store raided by poilice, guns drawn, video on You Tube and The LA Times article and surveillance video   It seems that CA tends to be the starting point for many laws/ licenses/ fees.  I just thought some of you might want to be aware of the fact, that this may be, "coming to a place near you", sooner than later.

I don't doubt it. When you have a socialist president, that's what happens. More to come I'm afraid....debbie

That is what happens when our world is regulating everything we do. Ridiculous.

No bandwidth so can only guess at what's going on...do you think Mexico would want CA back now?
Our country is going south, rather quickly.
VOTE IN NOVEMBER and not for NO and his buds.

while living in southern california now (and trying to get out!), i can say california has been devoloping a trend for a long time regarding over-regulating just about everything. it's a far cry from the california i was raised in. i personally think many other states would stand up and resist a lot of what california does, but since most californians think they're being "protected" and feel the need for big gov't, the train keeps going. california might be a lost cause, but hopefully that's the not the case for many other people.

That this is happening has little to do with who is in office. I must disagree.

This has to do with $$$$ and big lobbies for those concerns. Such a shame that so many with so much feel that they need more at the expense of the people of this country.

It is all about $$$ and control. Don't be fooled by anything else.

Debbie,
It's a trend because the industrial farms want all the $$, it's been this way through many presidents( they are all after $$) and yes I'm afraid the push will be on, especially now that people are wakingup to what is truly in their food supply and "Organic/ All natural" is moving ahead and putting a crimp on their pocketbooks.

Kat,
Amen and Agreed! Whatever happened to the belief, " Land of the Free"?

Barbara,
So true and to actually watch it slide downhill so quickly and the fact that many are oblivious to what is even happening around them, as long as they have their cell phones, I-pods,satelight TV and computers, adult toys and $$ they simply don't care about anything else, truly sad isn't it?

Sandra,
Sorry, I remember how frustrating it was when we were on dialup and couldn view most things. It was about a raid on a healthfood store, where police went in with guns drawn all over the CA state violation of selling unpasturized foods(raw as God intended) Just silly they felt they needed to draw guns over yogurt, raw cheese and alike.

Hopeful,
What I ment by trend was that it seems CA starts off with new laws, ideas, fees and such and even if many states disagree, sooner or later they all seem to present legislation, laws, regulations and whatnot very similar to the very things they disagreed with about CA. I know it's big industry money lobbying on different levels that puts this things into play. It's when the big industry shows the $$ made in CA and East coast states that tickles their ears*sigh*

Blog content really pushing and !.........................................
What that is supposed to mean I'm not sure, this is still a free country and I am entitled to MY own opinion, thank you!

Terry,
I agree and am NOT fooled in the slightest, it is all about money and has little to do with who is in office, it's about industrial farms controlling their markets( thru lobbiests) and they have the $$ and power to back their agenda.:o(
