Watch OUT!

1% tax proposed, so much for anyone earning $250K or less, not paying more taxes. Remember that if it is called a license, fee, surcharge,etc.... that they are just fancy, glorifed names for TAX!  I hope you'll all search into H.R. 4646, incorrectly named "Debt Free America Act"

What's happening in your area of the world? Update on ours.

Lots of things spinning around in my head now to put them in some sort of order. Let's start here at home; we've been run ragged by our zucchini, harvesting 6-8 a day. The plan is to slice and dehydrate( our freezer space is limited) as many as possible for use in soups and casseroles. I found a few recipes for Zucchini chips, which we of course will try and if everyone likes them we'll make a few batches( not sure how long they'll store) We're going to grate and freeze some for breads and cookies and we're enjoying them fresh in salads and as steamed/ cooked side dishes too. Our peppers are now in full swing, the tomatoes are beginning to ripen slowly and the carrots are tender and oh! so sweet. The only problem is, this always happens, our lettuce mix has bolted due to the heat and it's still to hot to replant more( we've tried and it just doesn't fair well) so our salads consist of chard and spinach and a few beet greens.  The beets are ready to harvest, not sure what we'll do with all of them as we only need a few jars of relish, pickled beets and plain ole canned beets. They really took off in the cooler wet weather and my feeling is if left in the ground until time to dig for storage they'll rot or get so large they'll be woody. Maybe we'll try to dehydrate some, never heard of it being done but it's worth a shot, otherwise the chickens will have enjoyment of the ones we can't use.  The Painted Mountain corn is growing well, ears are large but still have yet to set on their colors. The raspberries, elderberries and chokecherries are all absolutely loaded this year so we're working on taking full advantage of these as well.  We have apple jelly and butter leftover from last season, as well as peach butter and jam and plum jelly so with the added berry jellies, jams, butter and syrups we'll have a very nice selection to choose from and I almost forgot, a dear friend in TX, gifted us some fig jam, Mmmm, Mmmm. Soon we'll be readying beds for our fall greens. When the peppers, in the hoop house have ended their production we'll remove the plants and try our hand at raising some carrots, radishes, onions and lettuce and work to keep it us and producing well into Nov.( with some heat at night). Montana just doesn't have enough daylight in winter to sustain growing longer than this anyway. This is the reason we planted tomatoes, a few pepper plants, okra and eggplant for a later harvest, in hopes of storing them in the refrigerator, to extend our fresh produce season before relying on the root crops, cabbage, potatoes, turnips, squash, pumpkins and carrots stored in the cellar. When you eat seasonally you do have to think a bit outside the box. This was one reason behind our building the hoop house, otherwise we'd be out of fresh produce( tomatoes, salad greens, eggplant, cantaloupe, etc....) by the end of Oct. and that is a long time.

We surprised Cortney with an added late birthday gift. You see she is a HUGE Country music buff and when she heard that Jason Aldean was coming to the city, for the local fair she was so excited. Well, it also gave us good motivation to cleaning up some items to be recycled. The money earned from the recycling paid for the tickets with some to spare for fair time snacks*wink*  Of course Cortney had no idea this was the plan, until we presented her with reserved tickets right down in front of the stage, she was speechless for about an hour, then she never stopped talking about it!  On top of this a friend called and asked if she'd like to go earlier in the afternoon, the day of the concert, and look around and ride some rides. We met up with them after we'd secured our seats. It sounded as if they had a great time, rode lots of rides and walked around looking and window shopping. The concert had to be relocated from it's original location, the Metra, to in front of the grandstands like in days gone by before the Metra was built. If you recall back on Father's day the Metra was hit by a tornado and was severely damaged. Many of the concerts( Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and a Rock band) scheduled, cancelled, because they didn't want to play in an outdoor venue. The weather was cloudy and cool( 62F for the high), with spotty rain, so we all took/ wore added long sleeve coats or sweaters. Thankfully it didn't rain, but their was a steady breeze making it quite chilly after the sun went down.  The opening act was a group called The McClymont's. Here is a free download of one of their singles. They were good, but their background music drown them out, so it was hard to understand the words to their songs. Jason Aldean soon was on stage singing all of his hit songs, a few singles and even a new song to be released on an album to be released the end of November. I know the words to songs but never realize who sings them, so was surprised to hear many songs and tie  them to his name. Cortney was waiting for his hit single; "Big Green Tractor" and when he left the stage he hadn't sung it. I told her to wait, the crowd would cheer him back for a few more songs. After approximately 5 minutes he came out singing....... you got it! " Big Green Tractor". The crowd was singing along, so loudAldean. Of course he was encouraging this and commented after the song that the crowd was wonderful and crazy!  We slipped out in the middle of the last song, to beat the crow, and do some walking around before heading home. It was fun but I realized that I'm getting old, me and 11pm don't mix well, LOL! Good thing Mike was driving, because it was all I could to to keep my eyes open long enough to make it into the house and into bed, Whew!

So much is going on in our country right now, it's mind boggling. Did anyone see Glenn Becks show on the 12th? Now I'm not a Glenn Beck follower( we can't even get his program unless via Internet) and I don't always agree with everything he says or does but this show was inspiring and heartfelt. My prayer is that it will be a wake up call for many who seem oblivious to what is really happening and light a torch in their hearts and lives. Now onto the announcement of the Mosque on the sight of 9-11 and the support of the President, under the guise of Religious Freedom. Here is another video that states the irrationality in this announcement. Once again we are told to "listen" and obey, for they know what is best for everyone, even though in polls across the media, people have voiced that this is wrong and yet again they refuse to "listen"!  Maybe they'll hear us in November, when I pray, the people make our "Will" known, LOUD AND CLEAR!
How about yet another bail out? I urge you to watch Glenn Beck's show and then investigate and educate yourself, so that you are prepared for lies ahead for our country.

Our weather has been so cool and wet all summer, with only a handful of days into the mid to high 90'sF and now the last few days we've been in a real cool down( high 50'sF and low 60'sF), feeling much like Fall temperatures. Praying this isn't a preview to what is coming! A few years back we had a hard freeze in mid August, killing everything that wasn't covered. Some weather forecasters are saying( for what it's worth) that for those of us in the North, could be in for a Winter Armageddon !

Mike is on vacation this coming week and we have a list, approximately a mile long, of things that NEED to be done. Firewood is one of those, not only finishing splitting and stacking the wood we have but to collect more wood that was given to us. This wood is pretty dry already and we'll most likely haul it home and split some and leave the rest stacked in chunks as reserve. Our hopes, every year, are to collect wood in the winter and in early Spring, split and stack it, but it never quite works out this way for one reason or another. We're also replacing our garage roof with a metal one, the hail a few weeks back, damaged it beyond our hopes of holding off for another year. This means that the pump we'd hoped to get up and running this summer/fall for irrigation won't happen. We are going to get electric run out to the site and put in a small pump with pressure tank and build an insulated pump house for winter watering of animals. It will be a blessing not to have to haul water via 5 gallon buckets from the house anymore.

Other items on our agenda are getting our heifer bred or buying our own bull to bred with( which means building a stronger corral), making room in the freezer for the 35+ chickens, 4 turkeys and our cow and by end of January using enough to make room for a pig. What a blessing to have the problem of space in your freezer.

Well..... off to make some raspberry jam and slice zucchini for the dehydrator. :o)

So tell us what's new in your life  and what's on your mind, we love hearing from you :o)
Next week posting will be sparse, to take FULL advantage of Mike's time off *wink*
Blessings for your weekend

HR778 Raw Dairy Bill

http://www.naturalnews.com/028757_raw_milk_FDA.html

This is a good article and you can read the bill for yourselves( link in the article) before asking your Senators and House Rep(s). to support this.

It simply boggles my mind that here in MT voters approved Marijuana for medical use, yet Raw Dairy is considered such a threat to the public's safety. Don't be fooled the FDA isn't having such an issue over this because of your health safety, it's about control/ power and $$$$.

Parker: Animal I.D. battle isn't over

Contrary to what you are being told, National Animal Identification System is not dead - just renamed, reworded and still very much alive.

That was the message brought to the Ozarks Property Rights meeting in Gainesville last Thursday by Republican congressional candidate Bob Parker, who said he hated to bring that news. "Being one of those who has worked hard over the past four or five years to stop NAIS, nothing would please me and my co-workers more than to be able to report that indeed NAIS has gone away. But sadly it is still here under a new name and coming at us with a reshuffled approach." Parker read excerpts from a fact sheet released Feb. 5 by USDA that outlined the new approach.

Parker said the animal identification program will now be called the Federal Animal Disease Traceability System and premise identification registration numbers are now "unique location identifiers." Parker pointed out that the USDA paper says that since so much taxpayer money has been spent on efforts to implement NAIS that as much of the failed program as possible must be salvaged and used in the new program such as use of the NAIS "840" ear tags. They say it would be fiscally irresponsible to disregard all elements of NAIS, he said.

USDA acknowledged that massive public opposition to their proposed NAIS program has caused them to revise the prior policy and offer a new approach.

Parker noted that while USDA says the framework for the new approach will emphasize state's participation, they are very clear and emphatic on one major point which seems non-negotiable in their view. They intend to enforce animal identification at the level of interstate commerce as they said they would do under the original NAIS plan. This would force Missouri producers into their program as the state has practically no in-state feed lots or major slaughter facilities causing nearly all of the state's livestock production to cross state lines, Parker said.

Addressing the issue of states like Missouri that have passed laws prohibiting forced participation in NAIS, the fact sheet points out that this program is no longer called NAIS and the new framework will spell out what states must do for their animals to be able to move in interstate commerce.

Parker expressed disdain for those elected officials who quickly put out news releases bragging how they were instrumental in stopping NAIS. "They evidently didn't read the rest of the story and were quick to make political hay. They do their constituents a real disservice by touting a hollow victory," he said.

OPRC president Russell Wood said the fact sheet Parker was referencing can be found at the group's web site www.ozarkprc.com, www.r-calfusa.com or www.USDA.gov.com under Questions and Answers: new animal traceability framework.

Just a heads up folks

A quick 2010 election note today. Again, part of prepping is doing our part as citizens to ensure a good political landscape for our kids and grandchildren. With that in mind, I write to you today about a vital, upcoming, election that I have heard about. The election is next Tuesday, the 19th, in Massachusetts. It is of grave importance for we Montanans also.

The grave election will be the special election to fill the US Senate seat of Ted "Swimmer" Kennedy. The election pits a complacent Party apparatchik, Comrade [Attorney General] Martha Coakley, against State Senator Scott Brown. Coakley cannot be bothered to actually meet with voters. Instead, she works tirelessly with Party officials, and their pack of special interest dogs, to spin a stream of lies against her opponent. I lived under a Party regime for years. This is what the party substitutes for actual work on solutions, ad hominem attacks on those who challenge the right of the Party's "philosopher kings" to rule we peasants as they please.

Comrade Coakley's campaign has been characterized by violence against opponents that is reminiscent of faschistii violence of the 20s. Dear Leader is even campaigning for her. No doubt here, the Party wants to maintain their stranglehold on the Legislative Branch. If Brown were to be elected, the Peoples' Party would lose their "majority" in the Senate and there is a chance that the Senate might become a Senate again, rather than a rubber stamp for Beloved Leader's drive to destroy our nation in the name of "progressive ideals".

Brown, and his supporters, realize how vital this election is. So they are soliciting help, and donations, from anywhere in the USA (before it becomes the USSA). I am going to see about volunteering to call voters. Brown has stated that one of his first acts in office, if elected, would be to oppose the "health care reform bill" and work for genuine health care reforms. He has been a National Guard member for over twenty years and advocates policies which are based on common sense, not Party agitprop.

Our US Senators have done much good for the citizens of Montana. But they now serve only the Party; supporting "hate crimes" legislation that effectively says that military members or White folks cannot have "hate crimes" committed against them. How reminiscent of South Africa, post-1994.

Plus both Baucus and Tester support the grotesque, socialist, "health care reform bill" that would force all Americans to buy a product or be fined, cut the quality of health care generally, set Party hacks up as health care "gatekeepers", and give lavish exemptions and benefits to Party minions such as unions, "kommunity o'ganizahs", and porkulus for states which joined the Dark Side to vote for this odious "legislation".

We need another real American in the US Senate, not another sycophant. Please consider supporting damage control for our sinking nation by aiding Brown in defeating the Dark Lord's, Sauron/Obama, candidate for the new Peoples' Senate.

Welcome to the Second American Revolution.

For those of us interested in all natural suppliment and medical treatments....

Look Out! The FDA, of course backed by big pharma, is at it again! It will pertain to anything within their realm, food items( raw milk and raw products, meats raised naturally, eggs, produce, etc...), herbal, homeopathic, vitamin, supplements, etc..... Day by day we are loosing our freedoms. Please read and take heed, if you grow your own herbs, make sure you have open pollinated seed, learn to identify wild herbs, stock up on herbs and other supplements you can't grow in your region, etc....

For what it's worth( obviously very little) send this to your state Senators, and Representatives, telling them you are tired of THEM making choices for us, under the guise that it's for our safety!

FDA's STORMTROOPERS

By Attorney Jonathan Emord
December 21, 2009
NewsWithViews.com

Over a year ago, the FDA adopted a 1,000 plus page final rule on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), mandating process controls from source to finished product for dietary supplements. It did so presumably to protect the American public from adulterated products but it is imposed on every company, not just those that cause harm. The rules impose substantial new compliance requirements and costs on every company in the industry. Under this new prior restraint, a product is deemed adulterated as a matter of law if a company fails to keep “adequate” records or to follow procedures in a manner that FDA deems “appropriate.” Some would consider it ironic that the major trade association for the dietary supplement industry, the Natural Products Association, first proposed the GMP rule to FDA. Others, including me, find nothing unusual about this because major players in virtually every maturing market favor imposition of “public interest” regulation to increase costs of entry and business for smaller competitors, thus driving them out of business and securing the larger firms’ market shares.

The GMP rules are particularly wicked because they give virtually unbridled discretion to FDA agents in determining the adequacy of compliance measures and any measure deemed inadequate is defined as an act of adulteration as a matter of law. The Final Rule does include a chilling admission that FDA enforcement of it will cull from the industry a quarter or more of all companies now in business, will exact a disproportionate penalty on small companies, will increase unemployment, will limit entry into the dietary supplement market, and will increase the costs of supplements. At the same time, because the dietary supplement market is already characterized by remarkable safety, it will yield no provable improvement in public safety.

Over a year ago my firm issued a notice to clients warning of the imminent implementation of the draconian rule. That notice included a doctored photo from the 1930s of stormtroopers invading Paris marching under the Arc de Triumph. It was entitled, “Here Come the Stormtroopers” and raised several eyebrows, including ones at the FDA. Through the magic of digital imaging, we had the Nazi soldiers images modified to include FDA tags on their shirts and standards bearing not the Nazi emblem but that of the FDA. The picture produced the effect we desired, alerting clients to a threat of abuse of power. We wanted to awaken an industry preoccupied with surviving a recession to the very real peril we saw coming from FDA enforcement of the new rules. Many in the industry presumed that if their products were safe to consume their government would not destroy them so long as they agreed to correct errors that were technical in nature. We advised to the contrary. We were right.

The proof is now in the offing. Within the last three months, the FDA has unleashed its agents across the United States, visiting company after company. Our phones ring daily with stories of new FDA investigations. The agency is conducting more inspections of dietary supplement companies than ever before in the same time span.

In 18th Century England, the right of a person to be safe in his person and effects against unreasonable search and seizure first arose in British law. At that time, radical Whigs who engaged in comments critical of the Crown and majority party (i.e., seditious libel) heard thereafter the unfriendly knock of the constable who would enter a house or place of business and ransack it, combing over the premises for any possible evidence of illegality. Upon finding that evidence, the party responsible would be arrested and tried.

General warrants, as they were called, were issued without probable cause of illegality and without proof of any imminent threat to the public safety. At a time when the rights of men were discussed seriously in the Age of Enlightenment, while the theories of individual rights against the state from John Locke, Cato (the nom de plume of Thomas Gordon and John Trenchard), Algernon Sidney, and Edmund Burke among many others circulated, the environment was ripe for taking down tyranny, and change came. In famous English cases that received applause in the American colonies the General Warrants were condemned, and the law came to respect the rights of citizens to be secure in their papers and effects against unreasonable search and seizure.

That basic right has been lost to the regulatory state. Under contemporary law, regulators enjoy great power to “investigate” without probable cause of illegality. Moreover, regulators can obtain warrants without notice to the regulatee, enabling them to seize and remove all manner of products, confidential papers, and materials on the strength of a mere affidavit alleging that there is, e.g., “adulteration.” Because mere record keeping omissions or mistakes under the GMP Final Rule constitute adulteration by operation of law, it is a simple affair for an investigator to execute an affidavit of a finding of adulteration, triggering a warrant ex parte (without notice to the regulatee) from a federal court.

With such extraordinary power at their disposal, rendering them no different from those who executed General Warrants against our forebears, FDA investigators can easily intimidate and humble regulatees. Uppermost in the mind of the regulatee is that if the investigator chooses to he or she can invariably find something arguably remiss, declare it proof of non-compliance, and endanger the future business of the company. It is often the case that a party investigated will turn over all manner of information, even beyond what is legally required of them, to satisfy FDA investigators.

Those investigator then return to their offices and comb over the materials for any potential basis for a law violation, alerting other government agencies federal and state if they find matters that might also offend those other agencies’ regulations. When violations are found (and invariably if an agent wants to find a violation he or she will), the agency may then refer the matter for civil and criminal prosecution to the United States Attorney. Prosecutions occur even when there is no evidence of any harm to the public. Indeed, the product may be health enhancing, but labeled improperly or made without requisite record proof of compliance with the GMPs, yet those technical infractions may be translated into a civil or criminal law violation carrying with it draconian penalties and even jail time.

The effective return of General Warrants through the regulatory agencies is a remarkable devolution in the history of liberty, one sadly among many. The scope of liberty available to Americans is shrinking day by day. We are increasingly becoming wards of an ever expanding state. With each new law and new agency mandate comes a greater intrusion into our affairs and a constriction of our free choices. There is a tipping point at which those intrusions will cause such hardship and such interference with the rights of a once free people that those people will demand in overwhelming numbers that the rights violation stop. We have yet to reach that tipping point, and it is anyone’s guess when we will.

URGENT! Please read the following and act quickly

Ronald Reagan On ObamaCare….

Almost 50 years ago, Ronald Reagan spoke about the evils of government-run health care under the banner of a campaign called Operation Coffee Cup.

Reagan said; "One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine."

Reagan described the movement to impose statism through health care as a "threat" that was "imminent."

Here's what Reagan said:

"The doctor begins to lose freedom.... First you decide that the doctor can have so many patients. They are equally divided among the various doctors by the government. But then doctors aren’t equally divided geographically. So a doctor decides he wants to practice in one town and the government has to say to him, you can't live in that town. They already have enough doctors. You have to go someplace else. And from here it's only a short step to dictating where he will go."

Reagan continued:

"All of us can see what happens once you establish the precedent that the government can determine a man's working place and his working methods, determine his employment. From here it's a short step to all the rest of socialism, to determining his pay. And pretty soon your son won't decide when he's in school, where he will go or what he will do for a living. He will wait for the government to tell him where he will go to work and what he will do."

Reagan closed by telling us the price of not taking action to stop this threat:

"And if you don't do this and if I don't do it, one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children, and our children's children, what it once was like in America when men were free."

Reagan had a talent for getting to the heart of the matter and his words are as true today as they were back then.

This so-called move to radically change our health care system by putting the federal government in charge has nothing to do with making health care more accessible, more available and more affordable.

It's more about the desire of politicians in Washington to impose greater centralized government control.

We can’t thank you enough for all you have done to defeat ObamaCare thus far. But all Americans must continue to make their voices heard against this government takeover of health care. We must continue to fight, or the result just may be telling our children and grandchildren "what it once was like in America when men were free."

Remember, the vote on the motion to proceed could take place mere hours from now. The time to act is now.

Send your urgent and personalized Faxes to each and every Republican Member of the United States Senate as well as Senators Blanche Lincoln, Joseph Lieberman, Ben Nelson and Mary Landrieu (key Democrat Senators who are sitting on the fence). Or alternately, you can send your urgent and personalized Blast Faxes to all 100 Members of the United States Senate... that's 100 Faxes.

Let them know that the American people will not be fooled or deceived. Let them know that you understand that a vote on the motion to proceed is a vote for ObamaCare… period.

"We the People", are coming

We the people are coming."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following letter read on Glenn Beck's show, is rapidly circulating around the country. Americans everywhere identify with this 53-year-old woman. She has given us a voice. Once you read this, you will want to forward it to all of your friends...

GLENN BECK: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona . She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership:

"I am a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. Instead, we are burdened with Congressional Dukes and Duchesses who think they know better than the citizens they are supposed to represent.

There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now.
You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would feel so horribly disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut-job am I? Well, these briefly are the views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This is not to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the STIMULUS bill. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you No, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars. I want the circumvention of our constitutional checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution, and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There are many conflicting opinions and it is too soon for this radical legislation. Quit throwing our nation into politically-correct quicksand.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision that will burden me, my children, and grandchildren. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night without even reading it. Slow down! Fix only what is broken -- we have the best health care system in the world -- and test any new program in one or two states first.

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. More is not better! Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real [Constitutional] obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes -- how did they pull that one off? Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with any of our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs -- and that is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person! Why do you want me to hate my employers? And what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions.. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Every company must sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. (Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid?) We will pull together.. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please stop trying to manipulate and appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.
Take a breath. Listen to the people. Slow down and get some input from non-politicians and experts on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed-reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not.

It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is needless urgency and recklessness in all of your recent spending of our tax dollars.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back.. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on bringing our concerns to Washington . Our president often knows all the right buzzwords like unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented.. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone... and we are now looking at you.

You have awakened us, the patriotic freedom spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office.
We have canceled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us who will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution, and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them.. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you.

If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming."

This speaks volumes, praying many are listening....

Have you ever not been able to put your finger on a feeling or lack of interest in a growing movement? This is how we've felt about the two below movements and Mr. John Galt took the words we couldn't convey right out of our mouth, thank you John. Please read the article below, pray and then follow your heart.

An Open Letter to the 9-12 Movement and the Tea Party Participants

August 6, 2009

Dear Participants of the 9-12 Project and Tea Parties,

God Love ya’ gang.

I know what you are trying to do and believe me, I think it is noble. Five years too late, but noble. I am aware that some of your groups have been hijacked by the usual screwball hypocritical RNC types and some groups are doing all they can to evict the clowns or bypass them. Others just get into lockstep and march with the liars who brought our nation to this point thinking that a Republican Progressive is better than a Democrat Socialist Progressive. That’s for another day or for everyone to read the editorial I wrote titled “Blame Wisconsin” for a historical perspective.

The AstroTurf protests look great (sorry but I just grinned reading the grimace on the face of the White House Robots when they uttered those words) but now what? You’ve caught the semi and have the rear tire in your dog jowls and you don’t know what to do. Meanwhile, the socialists are trying to shift the big semi of public opinion into reverse and crush your movement. As the big dog right now, you can either move up to the front and chew those tires off or play by the same old playbook and get steamrolled by the MMM (Marxist Media Movement) which will be more than happy to have pictures of your protests broadcast worldwide with plants wearing Nazi emblems as the Wicked Witch of the West so proudly lied about on national television.

Glenn Beck took a call before the noon hour today about the protests and town halls and his suggestion was to protest outside of their offices in local communities and if they were single, in front of the homes of the cowards, er politicians who were ducking their constituents. The problem is that your movements have failed to realize that you are not their constituents whether you voted for them or not. Glenn fails to address this issue not because he is scared, although he should be, in reality he probably cannot address the issue due to legal liability problems. Thus I offer a solution which will cost your movements and the protests a measly $2.20 each to start and a wee bit more in the end, if you would like to learn how to win the war instead of just one or two battles.

I was Them

This is a first time, hard time, and most painful admission but most of my readers would understand that if you were a college student in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s odds are you were a Reagan hating left wingnut lunatic.

I was at that time as a sophomore, one of those subterranean slimeballs because it was great dating hippie chicks and even better it meant you did not have to be responsible for anything. Until you graduated from college and reality sets in. Which I did. And then you realized the hippie chicks were nasty skanks who viewed clothing optional the same way they viewed shaving and showering as optional also.

Thus a great conversion happened in my life and I was saved from a life of being a community organizer with no morals and a preplanned desire to usurp the Constitution and institute every Marxist’s wet dream fantasy. However during my time being a moron and a bum, I did learn how their non-violent tactics worked and much to my chagrin now, they were quite effective. Until the really radical nutcases moved in and that is when America finally had had enough and rejected the scum.

So just how did they do it?

$0.44 and Ingenuity

A stamp can cause more pain to the Obamanation than a screaming seventy year old woman at a town hall meeting. More on that a bit later. Now that the Marxist movements have captured your strategy, you can not stay static nor remain focused. It is time to attack, not with violence but with brilliance, the constituents of the political class need a message sent to them and considering the fragile nature of their economic designs, they are most vulnerable at this time for paying attention to the voters and not their lackeys in Washington, D.C.

There is a website provided by the very people who we need to send a message to at the Federal Election Commission which provides you a portal for the 2008 and 2010 elections to see just who is donating money to these morons who refuse to listen to the will of the people. A lot of people are under the misconception that businesses do not listen and do not pay attention but alas, that is a lie. You see, what the left wingnuts used to do during the hippie transition era of the late 1970’s is exactly the same tact that the poverty pimps used during the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Thus if you wish to get the attention of the political elites, you have to approach the business community and get their attention. First, you contact in writing or via telephone the business in question. You notify them that you are aware of their contributions to a certain Democratic Congresscritter, oh, like Kathy Castor from the Tampa area. You politely remind them that you pulled the information from the FEC website and that you do not approve of businesses who contribute funds to a politician who wishes to promote a certain issue, like socialized medicine. Let’s take a look at a sample page from this year with a list of contributors from the FEC website:

Wow, two large companies felt it was necessary to pay homage and contributions to a noted left wing socialist type who supports everything antithetical to capitalist ideals. I guess this means that they won’t mind then, a series of protests in front of their businesses with oh, say 200 or 300 9-12ers or Tea Party supporters with signs stating that their companies support stealing health care from the elderly, Eugenics, and candidates that support these causes. If you do that, do it on a public sidewalk and make sure that when they television cameras arrive, you bunch up and look noisy so the reporters can report that the “mob” makes them “uncomfortable.” Whatever you do, do not act violently! Be peaceful, chant, pray, sing whatever to cause pain for the business in question until they agree IN WRITING to no longer support the cause or politician(s) you oppose.

That is how the left did it. They realized decades ago that protesting the candidates or politicians accomplished nothing but by boycotting the contributors on a local basis you can create pain that will piss off the donors and finally get legitimate recognition that the media will not ignore. Think about “Joe’s Chevrolet” should it be on that list. How many customers do you think will avoid the ‘Cash for Clunker’s’ bargains if there are two hundred protesters on the sidewalk in front of their business on a Saturday afternoon because the owner decided to pay bribe money to a local politician? You can not win calling, you can not win faxing, you can not win whining to Mr. Beck on the radio; you must adapt, change and confront.

Now for the big question: What happens if the police arrive?

You have to have a plan to bail the cohorts out of jail. Do not resist arrest, simply sit down on the sidewalk, lock arms and start singing the “My Country Tis’ of Thee” when they start to assemble in force. When the officers approach, politely inform them you will not disburse, that you are exercising your First Amendment right to protest (make sure you have a permit but if the local government is corrupt, screw them, assemble anyways) and tell the officer you have to be booked. If they have to start hauling 200 people a day to the local lock up for processing, the businesses will begin to feel the impact as you spread the word.

When an officer approaches, ask if you can pray first and invite him to pray with you. Recite the Lord’s Prayer, then unhook your arm from the person next to you, and follow his or hers instructions with a “yes sir” or “yes ma’am” (unless the officer’s last name is “Boxer” then you say ‘yes Senator’) and they will haul you off to jail. If 200 people did this, the police will respect you for cooperating but you’ll get a small fine as a result and some media attention, especially if they arrest 200 plus seventy year old protesters.

Now for the first class stamp. A major corporation like a Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, etc. could care less about one letter. But a million letters a day? Yeah, that would get their attention. Do not waste your time on sending letters to companies where the government has direct control or ownership like Bank of America, Citigroup, Fannie Mae, GM, etc. Work on the medium sized companies that do not have the staff or personnel to handle the load. Look for a mid-Fortune 500 or Fortune 1000 company for example with revenues less than one billion bucks, but enough to contribute to the anti-American politicians and causes. A semi-trailer full of bags of mail for a week will slow their company processes down and with polite letters mixed in with their regular mail either force a public comment about their support for Obamanation policies or better yet, force them to withdraw financial support for those politicians (the real goal) who think you are just another right wing radical nut clutching your Bible and gun. This is more of a 9-12 Project type of thing but in your letters, please be factual, polite and do not curse. Most importantly, hand write every one of them and thank your local Post Office for the hard work those poor folks put into the effort carrying all the mail. They are just schmucks like us, trying to get by.

That is how the nuts work gang. They want to disrupt and hijack funding, not convince the masses they are right or wrong. They realized this in the 1990’s and moved accordingly. I would suggest those of you so inclined to make a difference consider your position, your liabilities and these tactics as there are oh so many more which one can use if you read their playbook or just remember what annoyed the hell out of you in the late 1970’s.

As for myself, I will remind you that I’m a 73er. The last person you want to make a call to action for.

I wish you the greatest of success and hope you win the day. If not, we are ready.

God Bless,

John Galt
