and boy can he sing! Cortney has been wanting a bird for a long time
and finally decided this is what she wanted.

Now to keep Callie( the cat) from being so interested. We may end up
hanging Romeo's cage from the ceiling.

Welcome Romeo! You sure are pretty! We inherited a canary from Bob's mom after she passed away and he was a good singer too. In the summer we'd put him outside and he's sing what the other birds sang. They are nice to have around...debbie
I'm thinkin' you just might want to hang that cage! Cats can be pretty determined when it comes to something they really want!
We used to have a couple of parakeets and I thought they were nice to have around with all the chirping and all. The wife and I ended up inheriting them from our kids, though!
Oh, my oldest son would love this. He really, really wants a bird. But with a big dog and two cats, I just can't see it. I also worry that our house is too cold for a bird (even though I see the birds flying around outside in the snow)

We had a cockatiel before we moved to our farm. Since we planned to move into our pop-up camper, we decided it was no place for an exotic bird and had to give him away. I miss Sunny, but don't miss the mess (we let him out of the cage)!
