We're having ours tonight;steamed with pork chops, homestead
potatoes (cooked with onions and a healthy portion of garlic), and
steamed carrots.
Our seeds are started, we'll be looking for sprouting in a week or so.We run a heat lamp, because our house tends to be to cold.
Callie, sleeping in HER chair, covered up and cozy for the night.

This is another plant Cortney got and it's on it's second time
blooming since she received it in Sept.
Well... off to hang laundry on the line. The sun is shining and the birds
are singing and I'm getting a serious case of Spring FEVER!, LOL!
March has come in like a lamb, so holding my breath, it will most likely
go our like a lion. Now to hold myself back and remember it still
freezes hard until mid May.

Your the second post I've read that has their seeds in! Will be fun watching them grow! Your kitty looks comfy. Ernie would not like laying in a towel or blankie - I've tried & he jumps down. Courtneys flowers are a welcome sight about now! she must be taking good care of them. Can't wait till spring and warmer weather...debbie
Yumm! The parsnips look lovely. Ours did not do well this past year so hoping maybe for a spring planting. Getting them in the ground this week along with our other cool weather crops. Blessings, Kat

Poor Ernie, he's certainly had his struggles, glad he's on the mend. I don't comment much, but we do read your blog. Now with Spring in the air I'll be visiting blogs less and less, because afterall I am a outside gal.
The flowers are the first I've ever had rebloom, most of the time they die*sigh* It does feel like Spring, inside and out. Yesterday we hit 52F! Today it's supposed to be warm, but there is a southern wind blowing.

Parsnip seem to like our climate and soil, they come up like weeds, literally! Good thing we love them and this seasons crop is especially sweet. We'll leave some in and let go to seed, but the rest we're going to really enjoy. Good luck and I pray yours grow well for you this season.
