We were getting pictures for our Christmas card this year and these are a few of the shots we used. It's hard to catch animals in a good photo, as they move so quick. We're still alive and okay, just busy and a bit overwhelmed that life keeps speeding up rather than slowing down. I remember when winter was considered a respite and now there seems to be so much to catch up on that winter is all about work too! It's good though because it keeps a body busy and active. Still working on Christmas gifts and soon will begin our baking of goodies and getting baskets ready for family and friends.
Button, who we bred to a Jersey bull and she seems to have settled. :o)
Hoss, our steer well overdue to getting hauled in to butcher but funds have been tight so pushed it back a bit.
Poppy one of our doelings from Angel( our Leap Year kids)
Pansy, our other doeling, we'll be breeding them in the SpringMolly, one of our barn cats, shes such a nice kitty
Missy, our latest addition to the farm, she's an Alpine and a super nice goat.
Maggie our yearling doe, who is currently being bred to a Nubian buck
Angel and Cortney, she wasn't happy about the hat but it made a good picture
Our buckling, Patches who is now 4 months old and ready to take on the world! LOL!!
Patches again, he's such a baby still and has had to learn a few lessons about respecting us*sigh* He just wants to play but we're teacheing him that is NOT tolerated. He pouts after being scolded, LOL!!!
Just wanted to check in and say hello and that we still keep up with all of you and your blogs it's just a lack of time and energy to keep posting on a regular basis. This has unfortunately caused a real drop in our page views but life goes on and we'll do our best to keep you updated Have a very Merry Christmas if we don't get to post before then.

Great Christmas pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Good to see you and love the photos. I know what you mean about winter. I was looking forward to a cold winter and some time to relax and do some sewing and needlework. However, it is December and we are still in the 70s. Should have had frost by now. Absolutely crazy! The winter garden is stressed because of the.....HEAT! Oh well, I think I will take January off to just do domestic things and let farm projects wait until February. Do we always have to have a project? Anyway, I am rambling. Take care and have a wonderful blessed Christmas! Kat
Good hearing from you. And your right, this year seems to be so busy for some reason, time is flying by and Christmas will be here soon!! So what photo did you pick for your cards?...debbie
Carolyn,
You're welcome and Thank you, Have a Merry Christmas
Kat,
We're taking off next week from our cleaning job so we can get baking and projects wrapped up. I know why is it that we drive ourselves, maybe it's because we're born surviors*wink* Sorry to hear about your warm temps, we had them too til yesterday, then got 5-6" of snow and woke to 4F outside with a windchill of sub zero. That's hard on all of us and the animals too!
Have a Merry Christmas and I'll work on keeping in touch via email better, really I will LOL!
Deb,
We used all the pictures, made a sort of collage on a full 8x10 sheet Thanks for chiming in, we miss your company and enjoy viewing your page when we can.
Hi Kelle, I'm still here, but like you have been too tired at the end of the day to do emailing or just about anything else. I'll try to write soon! Enjoyed your post with all the animals.
