Roofing day! and Fall in Montana

It began snowing last night and got cold enough for it to stick around some.
Today, rain, snow or wind the metal is going on the shop roof!
Sammy tip- toeing across the snow en route to the food dish
Love how it hangs off the roof, not so fun when it falls on your head
Finally my rain barrels are beginning to fill, to bad I'll have to drain them soon before we freeze solid!

Just quickly posting so photos and we'll be canning tomato sauce and concord grape juice today, plus fixing ham and bean soup, cornbread muffins and apple crunch for dessert for the man crew helping to get the shop roof on. I'm also deep down cleaning a room at a time, you know me multi-tasker*wink*
Blessings for your weekend and we'll post pictures of the roof progress and completion :o)

Happy Fall! Wow, snow already. We have just gotten into sweater weather here in Southern Ohio. Soon we'll have the cold, too. :)

All of your cooking sounds wonderful. Yum!

Lois, yes our Fall is not long at all, well neither is our Spring*wink* It seems Winter is our longest season :o) Thank you the meal was good and the menfolk gobbled it up and left with smiles on their faces and full stomachs, some said they needed a nap*wink* LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by to chat, we so enjoy it :o)

Debbie,
Hello, glad you stopped in and in the house it was warm and toasty and actually bu noon it was warm( upper 50'sF) and the snow all melted away. Our ground was so dry it all soaked right in and there really wasn't to much mud even. The wore gloves and it was a bit hairy for the first few sheets, because they got a bit wet, so were slick for the men up on the roof to stand on, but I threw up an old towel and they dried them off, so nobody was hurt in an accidental fall off the roof.
Thanks for stopping in, we miss hearing from everyone and at this point in time don't have the time nor energy to view all of our favorite blogs and stop to shat, but we do come sneak a peek*wink*

Blessings for your day to you both, and please come back and chat again :o)
