This and That during prepping for Christmas

                                               Our Christmas tree
                                          Grandpa and Jayla
Jayla helping mix up blueberry coffee cake
                                          Haulin hay to the cows
Grandma are you sure she's not going to buck or something!
Learning to milk the goats with Grandma
Peanuts for Patches and he was nice and didn't get fingers too
Making "Birdseed Bread" for gifts today
                                          First batch done and cooling
Two batches of Birdseed Bread and only two a bit overdone( stove got stoked and I didn't know it) and the stoker didn't know I was baking ! LOL!!!  Nothing to bad just on the ends of two loaves.

Good thing you had Jayla to help out! You probably couldn't have handled that workload alone.
I'd probably prefer the loaves that were "overdone" I like crust, and I like the endpieces the best!

The bread looks beautiful and what a wonderful life to be able to share with such an adorable child. Your a good grandma Kelle. Those are memories that she will cherish forever. Blessings, Kat

Mark,
I like the ends and well done doesn't bother me either. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Jayla is a great helper, really, really keeps Grandma hopping though LOL!!!

Kat,
Thank you we're truly blessed in our life and with our grandchildren. She already loves to come help Grandma cook, next will be gardening*wink* She of course loves the animals too, as does Jaymz.Merry Christmas to you and yours, see you in the New Year

Craftivist,
Three days ago I was paniced, now glad it all came off good and everyone is happy and well fed. Thankyou, being a grandma is the best thing ever. Your own kids are fun, but we were young and didn't fully appreciate them like we now can with our grandchildren. :o)

Cyn,
To you and yours as well, praying you have a blessed day, shared cherished memories and loads of love. HUGS

Thanks all, enjoy your time with family and friends,
Kelle and family

Hi Kelle, keep in mind I'm a severely low tech geek and may have asked you this already...but...since I can't find it anywhere, here goes again. whew! still with me? grin.
Did we talk about bird seed bread? I make a bread I call bird seed bread and wondered how yours came about? Hope all are well and had a happy Christmas.
