Here are some pictures of our newest baby. His name is Patches( he's 4 days old) and he is our new Billy goat, well... in the future*wink* He is a cross between a nubian and a saneen and we hope he'll fit right in here on The Never Done Farm :o)
Here is a video of Patches trying, trying and trying to leap onto our couch, he did finally make it but without a diaper on he was banned from the couch, LOL!!!! We got diapers today, so hopefully this will keep him out of trouble*wink* Goat kids are truly amazing and so much fun! http://youtu.be/Lev4_qivxfk

Summer's in full swing on The Never Done Farm! Photo heavy
This picture was taken in mid July, of course everything is much taller and producing well.
Mike's shop is coming along, slow but sure and some of our pretty flowers at the end of our driveway.
Better picture of the shop, we have the two walk through doors and rest of the windows and hope to have it all closed in before winter.
Front of house, to the left of this picture is Mike's shop. If you click the photo you can see the chicken tractor in the sideyard that houses a chciken hen and her two turkey poults, that's right the turkey hens laid eggs but refused to set so a broody hen sat on 4 eggs and three hatch, only two lived!
More of the garden and our new raised bed system, which we love!
more garden stuff
Cortney bought a pool and the grandkids and her were the first to enjoy it. It took two days to fill and then get chemicals all in balance. Sure will be nice this week we're supossed to be into the high 90'sF and 100F all week!
Grandson, enjoying the pool, even if it was still a bit chilly*wink*
Granddaughter is also a littel fish, like big brother, although she was in and out because she was cold.
My little helper, making Cortney's B-day Cake first part of July.
So much happening, working to get garden stuff canned and preserved, keeping the garden watered is a full time job, plus getting firewood ready for winter and general chores. We're milking two goats and making cheese three times a week now, plus yogurt, and icecream! :o) Hope your summer is as full and exciting as ours and that you feel blessed everyday! We miss being on here more but life changes and we feel our family is where we need to be right now. So please check back from time to time and we'll keep up with you as much as we can too *wink*
